shoud I have sex?
Before me and my b/f have sex, I would like to break my hymen to reduce the amount of pain for our first time together. Although in trying to do this myself, it's horribly painful, much more than what I've expected, and I can't break it. Do you think I should just have my boyfriend break it? What method would you consider to be less painful?

should I have sex?
You could continue to stretch the hymen using masturbation. You could also ask your partner to give you some time to work up to intercourse. Some women have a thick or strong hymen and it can take a while for this to give a little. There isn't really any hurry and it would be better if your first time was something you're happy to remember rather than something you want to forget. Talk to your partner about this. If you feel you're not making much progress with the masturbation or mutual masturbation you may need to get it checked out by the doctor. Good luck.

Have your boyfriend do it upon penetration...it's the natural, intended way, and the initial pain transcending into pleasure is integral to the memory you'll want to have.

Just continue with masturbation
Nessa, are you sure you really want this? I know in todays modern society for a person to have sex with anybody is a common thing but is it good? Relationships worked better in the past and lasted longer when two virgin couples were to wed and spend the rest of thier lives together. In my opinion your best choice to lose your virginity is when engaged or married. If you do want to follow the crowd though, take Sarah's advice. Oh, and if things don't work out between you and your partner, still try to save yourself for that special someone and don't get conned by the pigs that just want some fun. Your young life will be full of heartaches that way. Good Luck in your choice.
